The Wedding Planner Course 2024 by Melania Millesi

A true professional never ceases to discover new horizons for himself.
A new and interesting experience was the course, the author of which is one of the best wedding organisers in Sicily Melania Millesi. Melania created an exceptional space for exchanging expertise, innovative ideas, and business contacts, where industry leaders gather to discuss and shape future strategies.
For five days, the course participants attended workshops of the best vendors of the wedding industry.
The course focussed on trends and tendencies that will be relevant in 2025/26.
The OHMYSICILY team was especially proud of the victory of our talented Lisa in the BEST PROJECT nomination. Lisa and her team came up with and brought to life their original wedding concept in a classic style. The jury highly appreciated the innovative approach to classic wedding style and deservedly awarded Lisa's team first place.
Thanks to the course, the OHMYSICILY team has replenished its contacts with famous designers, talented photographers, videographers, virtuoso musicians, talented florists, metres and skilful chefs. Collaboration with professionals in their field is important for us, because it allows us to offer our customers the best of the best.

Cleanup Plastic Free
There is no secret that pollution of the Mediterranean Sea has reached critical proportions recently. Every day hundreds of thousands of marine life are harmed and killed by critical amounts of plastic. Sea waves wash the garbage accumulated in the sea onto the shore, which also causes damage to the inhabitants of the coast.
On the third of August, activists and volunteers of the Plastic Free organization and simply caring people gathered on the coast of the city of Scoglitti (RG).
The OHMYSICILY team is not indifferent to the global environmental situation, so on this day we did not stand aside. Together with other volunteers, we collected more than 40 bags of trash in just one hour.
We believe that big changes begin with small feasible steps. Every day we sort household waste and strive to reduce the consumption of plastic and undifferentiated waste.
Our civic position is reflected in our professional activities. When organizing events, we try to give preference to natural materials, minimize the use of plastic and fight consumerism.
It is important for us to preserve the unique nature of Sicily for future generations.
